This presentation will cover the process of choosing the best Content Management System (CMS) for a site. The process of picking a CMS is often overlooked, but it should be taken seriously and involve solid research based off one’s objectives and goals. The presentation will evaluate the pros and cons of the major open source players (Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, CMS Made Simple, ModX, Plone, etc.) and what one should be looking for in a CMS based off what they are trying to achieve. It may be tougher than it seems, but in the end it’s like picking out a car.

Attendees will walk away from this presentation knowing which CMS they should use for their site. This presentation is for a beginner to intermediate level.
