By the time consumers arrive at a business they have conducted all of their research and are often purely there to complete a transaction. In the automotive industry, this has posed a number of challenges and so Auto Trader have worked with GFK to conduct extensive research into the customer journey in the car buying process, from initial online research to final purchase. The insight provided is already helping businesses to shape their sales approach and understand how to measure the effectiveness of their different advertising channels.
