XML data and Web services have become common technologies. We will take a look at how SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) can be used to author reports based on XML Data Sources. We provide a brief overview of the core concepts of XML, and then explore the syntax of the XML Data Provider Query Language. We will also look at some of common pitfalls and workarounds when creating SSRS reports based on XML.
