It's time to get our hands dirty and dabble with some electronics as we explore one of the hottest gadgets sweeping Maker-Faires, home workshops and kitchen tables world-wide...the Arduino!

This workshop will be different: Everyone will be divided into teams. Each team will be provided with some electronic bits and pieces, including an Arduino Uno board. Each team should supply a laptop for the workshop. They should download and install the Arduino IDE Laptops should have a connection to the Wi-Fi network (please request ahead of the workshop) Everyone should familiarize themselves with the basics of an electronics breadboard. We'll be using breadboards to lay out our circuits. **https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/how-to-use-a-breadboard Before eating and during the introduction, the Arduinos should be connected to the laptops to allow the proper drivers to install.
