We all know that the Ruby language was designed in part to increase developer happiness. You’ve probably experienced an increased level of happiness when developing with Ruby verse other languages — why is that?
When we are in the zone of developing software the experience is enjoyable. The more we are able to focus and work efficiently, the more rewarding the experience.
This talk will explore some of the subtler sides of software development and why programming with the Ruby language is deeply fulfilling.
Practical techniques to facilitate flow and sustain a fulfilling development experience will also be shared.
