Many great designs start off as simple sketches in a notebook, or even on the back of a napkin. The act of sketching allows designers to explore the impossible and push boundaries, rather than being limited by whatever widget or pattern library they might be using.
By using a webcam, attendees will be able to watch live as I take pen to paper and attempt to come up with possible solutions to a basic problem. Taking the best sketch, I'll bring up a prototyping tool and build out a quick interactive prototype to showcase the sketching and prototyping process. The best way to describe how this session will flow is by comparing it to a cooking show, starting with the prep work and finishing up with a tantalizing dish.
