ASP.NET MVC is Microsoft's fully supported and free product for developing web applications that utilize the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern. This design pattern and implementation allows you to separate your business logic from the input and presentation tiers, allowing you to create fully independent and testable layers of your own application, while introducing an entirely extensible framework for which you write your web applications.

This session introduces you to the ASP.NET MVC Framework, its conventions, its benefits, and the some of the struggles I personally faced moving from ASP.NET WebForms to the MVC Platform. We will be discussing the several releases of the MVC framework, and what resources you can use as you move your next web site project into the ASP.NET MVC world.
