CatCon is one of the largest feline-centric conventions in the world. They obviously dedicate this event to all things related to our friendly, loveable kitties and countless cat-lovers all over the world attend and take part in this event. CatCon Worldwide describes itself as part symposium, part exposition. This means that it seizes this opportunity to not only entertain but also educate cat owners by showcasing different ideas and products for cats and their owners. Cat Film Festival
The Cat Film Festival was founded four years ago and has been successfully held over the past years, and the next one is coming very soon on the 16th of October 2021 which just proves its popularity among feline-lovers. The Cat Film Festival is all about the exploration of the world of cats through the use of film. CatVideoFest
CatVideoFest is a collection of films of the best and latest feline videos selected from numerous hours of submissions and sourced music videos, classic internet powerhouses, and animations. This fest is a lovely experience that is only available in theatres. The great thing about CatVideoFest is that it raises money for felines in need and it pairs up with local animal welfare centers, feline charities, and also cat shelters and aims to provide for those cats in need.
Witch City Kitty
Witch City Kitty is an event dedicated solely to felines and cat-lovers which is now going strong in its second year. This event is held for a whole day in Salem, Massachusetts that features exhibitions which piques the interest of cat-lovers such as cat services, cat rescues, cat merchandise e.g. self-cleaning automatic litter boxes, and many more. The good thing about this one-day cat-fair is that it donated all of the funds raised in door donations to eight non-profit cat organizations that participated in this event.
Hidden Paw Cat Club
Hidden Paw Cat Club is a chartered club of ACFA or the American Cat Fanciers Association. It serves cat owners in Washington DC and Maryland, Virginia, and is part of the ACFA North East Region. Its aim is to promote knowledge, interest, and most especially education about domesticated purebred and non-purebred felines to the general public. The Hidden Paw Cat Club encourages neutering and spaying, participating in local rescue groups and animal shelters, and most especially educating people on how to recognize animal abuse. The club also encourages adopting not only kittens but also adult cats from their local rescue groups and animal shelters, and promotes buying purebred cats only from reputable cat breeders and not from pet shops or the so called “kitten mills”.
SuperPetExpo
SuperPetExpo is an event that brings together thousands of pet-lovers for a three-day exposition including entertainment and shopping extravaganza. Its next event will be held early next year and it has now added new exciting features such as Celebrity Dog Shows, Butterfly Exhibit, Dachshund Racing And Corgi And Mixed Breed Races, Tortoise Encounter, and an astounding Alligator Walkthrough Exhibit. Sr Cat Show
Sr Cat Show, affiliated with CFA or the Cat Fanciers’ Association, is a small community of cat-lovers that is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. It aims to promote responsible breeding of felines with pedigrees, raise money for cats in need, encourage neutering and spaying cats that are not used in selective breeding programs, sponsor cat show annually to effectively disseminate information and educate people about our friendly felines in general, to help in educating the community about all things feline, and lastly, it also aims to promote an optimistic approach and understanding of cats with pedigrees.
